“Telephone was good enough until mobile phones came up”
Being good enough is not enough anymore. You need to be remarkable. The competitions are growing exponentially and you need to offer unique value and differentiate yourself from the crowd to out beat competition.
As I am writing this blog, so do thousands of other people. Similarly, when you apply for a job, so do thousands of other people. What are your chances of you getting the job? The chances are minimal, unless you differentiate yourself from the crowd to prove your worth.
A restaurant waiter, who remembers your name and the regular you order, is going to have a good chance of getting a better tip for the service provided than the waiter who just serves. The waiter created a remarkable experience by remembering your name and the items you order regularly thus making you feel important.
‘Being remarkable’ is the way forward.
