11 Commandments of work

Work has commandments too and when you follow them, they result in career growth, peace of mind and great work environment.

  1. Don’t procrastinate, do things now.
  2. Work your butt off (hard work never fails).
  3. Respect people (Boss, colleagues and sub-ordinates).
  4. Learn something new every day (Every event, every meeting, every interaction has something to offer for your learning).
  5. Innovate…Innovate…Innovate. (Be Remarkable all the time).
  6. Focus on results, not the efforts. (Deliver results, measure results, and appreciate results. Effort does not matter, if it does not deliver results).
  7. When making decisions, always check, whether it is good for the organization, good for the customer, and good for the people. Your opinion does not matter.
  8. Come on time, be on time and try to go back home on time. (But in between, when you are in office, work as if your life is dependent on it).
  9. Never involve yourself in office gossips.
  10. Enjoy what you do. (If you don’t enjoy what you are doing, Move on to a job you enjoy doing.)
  11. Never compromise on integrity
